Feeling a little Thirsty

The other day I was working on an assignment for the Heineken Beer, which by the way is the most recognized beer in the world. So I had to do a bit of research before I could get down to business and start shooting. These were the few that I ended up with after a day of shooting. Thats it for now, so don't all you guys and girls run out to the beer store after seeing these thirst quenching photos.

GTA Infiniti Detailing Meet @ Simone Performance May 31st 2009

This past Sunday the G35driver members and myself went down to Simone Performance out in Newmarket for our first meet of the season. Despite the cold weather people from all over came out for this one, as Kevin from GTA in Detail demoed on a member's car on how to properly wash and detail your vehicle. It was good to see some of the old members that I haven't seen in a while, and to meet some of the new members that came along. Now on to the pics

The Green Experiment

I was just trying a few things the other night and I thought the experiment turned out pretty good. I just used two wine glasses a green Bristol board my cam and my flash.

Classic Head Shot using Fill Flash

These head shots were taken around 8pm in the evening with my trusty canon 40D, 430ex flash, 70-200 f/4 zoom lens and a white board that I used as a bounce source. The purpose of using Fill Flash is to eliminate the shadows that form under the eyes caused by the sun in most cases, and as well as to match the foreground light with the background lighting, so you will have a perfectly balanced image. The basic set up for these two shots that are shown above were:

1. white board camera right angle at a 45 degree angle
2. camera in portrait position about 8 feet from the subject
   
3. flash was at 1/1 for the first and 1/4 for the second shot
4. s/s=1/200, f-stop=5.6, iso=100
   

High Maintenance @ Cabana

High Maintenance was a good way to end the long weekend. The club goers came out in full force to party and have a good time. For the most part I had fun besides the little altercation that took place, but the bouncers cleared that up quickly and it was back to normal.

Flight School @ Moon Night Club May 16th, 2009

Dj Royale

Where can I begin? This night was supposed be a great night considering it was the May 24 long weekend, but as the weather made it feel like mid January, and wishing that I had brought my winter jacket and hat with me. It was safe to say the the "flight" was not going to take off this night, but my boy Royale went in on the 1's and 2's and made an enjoyable music experience for the time it lasted.
